Didn't see the latest report in the PDF or in the blog so here's a link:

    Peace,

Thanks for the info, Raul! Your tip inspired a blog entry and I've contacted A.R.E. to see if they will allow us to "scoop" this still-unfolding story.

Bill Donato recently sent me some side-scan sonar images that really ARE going to make your brains explode! Unfortunately, I don't have permission to post them yet, but keep checking back - as soon as these sites are confirmed, it will be time to start rewriting the archaeology textbooks!

I have followed the "Cuban Atlantis" story since it initially surfaced. There is, I beleive, enough "indirect" evidence to debunk the myth that advanced civilization is only as old as Egypt. There is a chance that we might not be as smart as we think we are or have ever been. However, I am becoming skeptical as to the motives for sites such as these. Why? Why do you read about shipwrecks and treasure finds all day long and governments suing over them? And yet so many are convinced that here is "the mother lode" but we have...nothing. Not a drop of information. I am by no means an oceanographer or scientist but...HOW HARD CAN IT BE TO PUT A CAMERA INTO THE WATER AND TAKE SOME PICTURES? !!! I therefore question the "lures" or, rather, the motives... Stop talking. Stop selling your books...and put your money where your mouth is.
